Thursday, August 25, 2011 - What is It and How Does It Work? - What is It and How Does It Work?

I have recently been introduced to a website called and I am hooked already!  I am sure that many of you are thinking "What the heck is and how does it work anyway?"

It's a very simple concept and one that gives you cash back for shopping at most of the online stores you already shop at anyway, PLUS it provides you with coupon codes to save you even more money on your purchases.

The best way to see what really has to offer is to explore the site.  As you browse around you will see thousands of stores listed and for each of those stores you can click through to see coupon codes that can be used for that merchant. Not only will you see the coupon codes listed, but you will also see what percentage of your purchase you will get as Cash Back when you shop at that particular store.

And right now you really MUST check out for the Cash Back because they are celebrating their 10th Birthday with an extra 10% cash back from top stores.  That means you get 13% back from both Target and Walmart and a whopping 15% back from Sears and the Disney Store!  (Of course that's just the tip of the iceberg - the full list is much bigger.)

How does the Cash Back work?  Every time you make a purchase  through they calculate your cash back according to the percentage listed for that store and add the amount to your Cash Back Account.  Each month they send out checks - yes they send out REAL checks in the mail that you can take to your bank and exchange for cold, hard cash.  If the amount in your cash back account is $20 or more, you will receive a check for the month.  If you haven't hit the $20 mark yet, the cash stays in your account until you do reach $20 and then you will receive a check.

AND you get $5 deposited into your cash back account for FREE just for signing up with

They also have LOTS of FREE samples and hot deals every day!

You can see a lot more detail in the FAQ section and if you have any questions that aren't covered there, they have super friendly customer service available through the Contact page.

Thanks, Thrifty Jinxy for explaining it to me!
