Prefense Hand Sanitizer- A Review and Giveaway!

I was recently selected to receive a bottle of Prefense Foaming Hand Sanitizer and review it.  Right away I was excited because I have 2 small children who are always touching things and getting "germ-y".

The first thing I noticed when I pumped the Prefense in my hand was that it wasn't a gloppy gel like some of the other sanitizers I have tried.  Prefense is a light foam that is alcohol free so it won't dry your hands.  It has a citrus-y scent that reminded me of Asian cooking because it smells to me almost like it has a hint of ginger or lemongrass in it.

I love the idea that this hand sanitizer is formulated to last for up to 24 hours or 10 hand washings.   As a mom this is important because I can put a little on my children's hands in the morning and know they will be protected from germs even when I am not with them reminding them to wash their hands.  We teach our kids to keep their hands clean, especially before they eat, but we all know that most of the time they don't.  Prefense helps keep me from worrying about that.

Prefense's products can be found on their website HERE.  And you can also purchase it on Amazon.com HERE.

Here is some information from their website-
Why our hand sanitizer is superior to others on the market!
•    No alcohol! Prefense is made of all-natural ingredients and has absolutely NO alcohol in it!    •    Our technology protects you for 24 hours or 10 hand washings!      •    Prefense is non-toxic and safe for kids! It will not hurt you if swallowed!    •    Prefense is silica based which means it doesn’t dry out your hands like traditional alcohol sanitizers.  It actually smooths and softens your hands. You can totally see this when you apply it!    •    Prefense protects against staph, strep, E.coli, drug resistant MRSA strains, and more. We fight germs that other hand sanitizers can’t.    •    Because “one spray lasts all day” our 1.5 oz Prefense Foaming Hand Sanitizer offers 120 applications, costing only $.08 per day, compared to $1.20 per day with alcohol hand sanitizers.

Prefense has generously offered an 8oz bottle of Prefense (640 applications) for me to giveaway to one of my readers.   See below for the giveaway.  Good luck!  Thank you, Prefense!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  3. well LOL my son picked up and ate dog poop when he was almost 1. Luckily I was at work at the time or I would have been sick, but the description I got when I got home was just too funny! Apparently Daddy didn't know until he smiled REAL big with a mouth full of poo! I know it doesn't really have anything to do with his hands but it really is the most disgusting thing he's ever done.

  10. My 2 year old has a BAD habit of taking her diaper off and running around the house and yard buck naked! It's always fun to search the house looking for the dirty diaper. There was one time she decided to decorate herself and her brother while he was sleeping with what was in the diaper :-) My husband had SO much fun cleaning that one up.

  18. The dirtiest moment I have encountered is when the four week old baby I was nannying pooped through his diaper, onesie, and outfit all over my pants. My 12 hour day had just started, so I cleaned them up the best I could and got through the day with the 3 kids with poopy pants! Yuck!

My cousin was playing with crayons and I left him for sec to move them away because he was trying to eat them and when I came back instead of being in he same spot he went into the trash can and was touching all the dirty and gross things then tried to lick his hand. I put him in the living room after washing his hands only to see him eating the bagel bites that he threw on the floor.
