Great deals at Walgreens, CVS, and Publix.....

I just had an AWESOME shopping trip tonight.  Here are the deals-

First of all, make sure to check out the freezer section at Walgreens.  (Thanks Wild for Wags!)  Some stores have lots of frozen items on clearance.  I was able to get lots of goodies.  I bought Lean Cuisine meals for $.90 each, a box of 6 Good Humor Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream bars for $1.09, a pint of Starbucks Ice Cream for $1.09, Nestles Crunch Dibs (under $1, forgot price), Stouffers stuffed peppers for $.90, a few packages of P.F. Changs Sweet and Sour Chicken for Two for under $2 each, some Klondike bars for $.32 each, and the list goes on.  Each Walgreens I went to had different items on clearance.  I used two $1/3 Lean Cuisine coupon from here for the Lean Cuisine meals I bought.  I paid with Register Rewards so it was all free but even if I hadn't used RR it was pretty darn inexpensive.  Sorry I don't have my exact totals but it's late and I just shoved my receipts in my purse, coupon organizer, and even my pockets.  I need to organize it all tomorrow.

Great deal on Revlon Beauty Tools at Walgreens.  Go to www.target.com, click on coupons, and then the beauty section and print the $2/1 Revlon beauty tools coupon.  You can print 2 from each computer.  It's a manufacturer coupon so you can use it at Walgreens.  Walgreens has 40% off all Revlon Beauty Tools right now AND when you spend $10 or more you get $3 in Register Rewards.  I scored a TON of beauty items from Revlon for very little after coupons, I paid with Register Rewards that I got the other day, and then I got several $3 RR back.  My out of pocket was very little.  I used the $.50 Walgreens panty liners (w/ Walgreens in-ad coupon) as filler so I could use more RR to pay.  I did 3 transactions.  I wasn’t planning on doing so many, but along with my $3 RR on my first transaction it printed two more $2/1 Revlon Product coupons so I did another transaction, that one printed two more $2/1 coupons so I did a third transaction.

I was able to get two pairs of tweezers, nail clippers, a pore cleaner, a manicure kit, 1 pair of cuticle scissors, 1 pair of nail scissors, a few nail files, emery boards, and a nail buffer.  I am too tired to figure out my total out of pocket right now but after using my RR and getting RR back it wasn't much.   FYI, there were no signs up at the Walgreens I went to about the sale and RR but it’s in the ad.  Keep this in mind when you look at the prices.  You will need to find about $18 worth (full price, not with the 40% off) to equal a little over $10 after the 40% off so you will qualify for the $3 RR.

Here are two deal scenarios from wildforwags.com (thanks wild for wags!)-

BUY
(4) Revlon Emory Boards $2.09
(1) Revlon Nail Clippers $1.79
Total = $10.16
(5) $2/1 Revlon Beauty Tool Manufacturer’s coupon
= $.16, Get Back $3 Register Reward
= $2.84 MONEY MAKER!
The Manicure Kits are nice and normally $6.99, you could grab those for $.49 EACH!

or

BUY
(2) Revlon Manicure Kits $4.19
(1) Revlon Emory Board $2.09
Total = $10.47
(3) $2/1 Revlon Beauty Tool Manufacturer’s coupon
=$4.47, Get Back $3 Register Reward
= $.49 EACH!

I also had a few more Buy 1 Right Guard Deodorant or Body Wash, get one FREE coupons so I bought 10 Right Guard Deodorants and 2 Body Washes for free.

CVS-
I found LOTS of 90% off clearance hair products in a bin at CVS.  Don’t make a special trip because I saw it at one CVS and not the next one I went to, but if you are at CVS, look for it.  I ended up with 16 shampoos and 1 conditioner for between $.41 each as well as several hair sprays, mousse, etc.  My total was only about $10.  A woman behind me asked if I owned a hair salon because I had so much.  LOL  I had $4 ECB to use (from last week) and I paid with a $10 CVS gift card that I got for filling a prescription.  It was a Target pharmacy coupon to get a $10 gift card with a new prescription from this past Sunday’s Target ad, but CVS takes those coupons.   So it was all free!  Also, I got 2 CVS brand deodorants.  They were 50% off and I had a $3 ECB I received for my birthday so I paid I think $.32 for the two of them.

Publix-
Propel individual bottles are on sale at Publix for 2/$1.  There are coupons for $1/2 making these free, just pay the tax.  My local newspaper didn’t have these Propel coupons so I bought them on ebay.  I paid under $10 for a total of 40 coupons from 2 different sellers plus one seller included an extra.  I was able to get 82 bottle of Propel tonight for the tax ($2.46) plus the $9.23 from buying the coupons for a total of $11.69 for 82 bottles of Propel.  We won’t be thirsty in my house for a while.  LOL

Here's a picture of 44 bottle of Propel.  That's all they had at one of the stores I went to.  They were restocking in the morning so they told me to just take what they had.  Normally I don't clear a shelf like this but since it was after 10 pm and they were restocking in the morning I did what they said.  The cashier took a picture, too, because she couldn't believe it.  It took up the whole conveyor belt.  Can you imagine if I bought all 82 bottle at once?!?!

Recycle Bank

Have you checked out Recycle Bank yet?  I just joined but I have already earned enough to get a coupon for a FREE Premium Salad at McDonald's with a Happy Meal Purchase or a $5 off coupon for several local restaurants among other rewards.  And all I did was watch 2 videos and answer a few questions at the end.
30 Points here from Naked Juice
30 Points here from MillerCoors

There are lots of savings coupons you can earn.  Here is some info on how it works from their website:

We’re a group of passionate people who’ve made it our mission to inspire others to take action – small to big – that will have a positive impact on our planet.

We trade the actions you make that have a positive impact on your home by saving energy, community by recycling and the environment by conserving natural resources for points that you can use for rewards you choose. Those rewards come in a variety of flavors: Products, discounts and coupons from the world’s leading brands (think: Kashi, Footlocker, Dunkin Donuts), or you can pay the good deed forward by donating your points to support environmental education in schools.

Through these rewards programs, we not only help our own neighborhoods and cities, but we can see what how collective actions result in one serious collective impact. It’s our world, let’s better it together.

It's really pretty simple; you select a green action you want to be rewarded for and each time we have confirmation that you've done it, either through a points code or by recycling, we'll award you Recyclebank Points. These points can be used for rewards at local and national retailers and online.

If you are already a Recycle Bank Member, I'd love to hear your experiences!

Popcorn 4 All Review

As most of my close friends know, my favorite food is popcorn.  I was so excited when Popcorn4All said they were looking for bloggers to review their products as I have been a customer of theirs for several months and LOVE all of their flavors.

They sent me a beautiful gift bag filled with three yummy quarter gallon bags.  I really like that the gift bag is reusable!  I couldn't wait to tear into the apple cinnamon flavor first since I hadn't tried that one before.  It was very fresh and had the perfect amount of flavor and sweetness.  It melts in your mouth and every piece was coated just right.  My husband came by to nibble a little popcorn with me and he found a piece that looked just like Yoda.  I was going to take a picture if "Yoda" to add to the blog but I accidentally ate that piece while I was typing this.  It's just so hard to stop, it's so good!

The second flavor I opened was chocolate cherry.  I opened the bag to reveal a pretty shade of red, yes, red popcorn.  If my husband and I have the will power to save some for our daughters, I know they will love this flavor and it's fun color.

For the last flavor I switched gears a little to a savory flavor, Italian Feast.  For this flavor they combine three different cheese recipes- cheddar, white cheddar, and parmesan- into a unique secret blend and blend them with Italian seasonings.  This is one flavor that everyone should experience.  If you like red wine, this is a great flavor to combine it with.

What I really like about  Popcorn4All is that they air pop each batch, made to order daily, and individually pack and seal the flavors you choose in foil-fresh bags so that when the popcorn arrives it tastes like it came right out of the kitchen.  Their flavors include butter, caramel, cheddar, chocolate cherry, combo (butter, caramel, and cheddar mixed), Italian feast, jalapeno cheddar, ranch, toffee, and white cheddar.  They also have seasonal flavors such as green apple, pumpkin caramel, and red cinnamon, just to name a few.

Popcorn4All has something for everyone from pretty gift bags to sports themed boxes and tins.  They ship fast and shipping is only $4 per item.  I have ordered the 10 pack taster sampler several times and I have a hard time keeping it in my house.  I have to hide it from my children if I want to get any.  Your family will love it, too!  Check out Popcorn4All.  You won’t regret it.  I dare you to stop at just one bag!

*Note~ I was not compensated by Popcorn4All in any way except for the free gift bag of popcorn I received to review.  All opinions are my own.

Cheap/FREE Pediacare at Walgreens this week!!!

Walgreens has a coupon in their flyer for $5/1 Pediacare.  There are also printable $3/2 manufacturer coupons.  Some places have the Pediacare for $5.99 each making this a money maker.  Mine had it for $7.49 as the regular price.  I used the printed $3/2 coupons I had and got them for $.99 each.

But the best part was that it printed a catalina coupon for $1.50 off 1 Pediacare.  So I went and bought more since they ended up being only $.99.  I broke it up into 1 transaction per box I was buying so it would print a new catalina each time to use on the next one.  For $10.89 (before I paid with some RR) I got 11 boxes of Pediacare. (some cold/cough, some cold/cough/fever, and some allergy)  I do not have babies so I didn't get the infant one.  My friend got the infant fever reducer one but it didn't print the catalina so maybe the fever reducer only ones or the infant ones don't print the catalina.  Not sure on that one, but this is a great deal especially if your store has them cheaper than mine did.  I'll probably get more this week to donate at this price.  Shelters are always looking for baby/children items.

CVS men's deodorant and body wash deals!

I went back to CVS again today armed with my P&G coupons from this weekend and from the P&G booklet from the mail.  Old Spice Deodorant was on clearance for I think $1.79.  I had a $1 off coupon from the P&G booklet so that made it only $.79.  Then I used a buy one Old Spice Deodorant, get one Old Spice Body Wash Free coupon from the P&G insert this past weekend.  So $.79 for both!  If you do not have the $1 from the booklet, there is also a $1/2 in this past weekend's P&G insert.  There was also a different Old Spice deodorant on clearance for $2.14 so it would be $1.14 for the deodorant/body wash deal on those.

If you don't like Old Spice, I also saw some Gillette deodorant on clearance for $2.29 and there were Buy one Gillette deodorant, Get one Gillette Body Wash Free coupons in the P&G from this weekend.

And if you missed my post before, scan your card at the coupon machine to see if you get a $1 off any CVS brand hair care product. I received it twice this week and was able to get a 25 oz bottle of CVS's version of Pantene 2 in 1 (on clearance for $1.49) and also a bottle of CVS's version of Head and Shoulders (on clearance for $1.49) for $.49 each after coupon.
